Mock Interviews
What is a Mock Interview
A Mock interviews is where the interviewer helps the candidates gain a good amount of confidence and gives them a good chance to reflect on their capabilities and the verbal and non-verbal communication skills but it also gives the interviewer a good chance to reflect on themselves. A Mock interview is also known as a practice interview which means it can be like an actual interview but it is only for a preparation, meaning that the person going into the interview can alter their choices and answers when going into the interview.
good preparations for interviews in the coming future would be to do research on the company that the person applying for because going into the interview with little to no research would be not great to go into the interview with little to no knowledge of the company and it is also good to involve some information in the research in case a certain question is brought up in the interview, what is also good for preparations is to be polite to the people or person is interviewing and this is why because in order to have a better advantage at doing well in this interview, a polite and positive attitude is guaranteed to be needed and it will give the interviewer a good impression of the person they are interviewing. Finally another important factor in the preparations for interviews is that the person should be prepared as that is possibly the most important part of actually going to an interview, a good start is a dress code as that will be needed to look well prepared and ready for an interview, another would be bring equipment like a pen and some notes for writing down any further information and another good preparation would be a good amount of questions to ask the interviewer will benefit the person getting interviewed.

Feedback
"You were able to discuss the skills that you have taken from the course such as working with Premiere Pro editing software. You expressed an interest in content creation and were open to working freelance or with a company showing you can work independently and in a team. You also showed your ambition with your application to university which you have a place for already - well done again, it is a fab achievement! You mentioned that your strength was in creativity which is an important quality to have in the industry and you are able to share this creativity when working in teams. You also mentioned working in a team as a strength too. You are also interested in the research side of film and TV which is great and shows you also have interest in creating stories for film. Your weakness was communication in different situations - this will all come with practice and I’m sure your university course will help you with this."
Feedback Reflection
This feedback helps me because it gives me a good amount of subjects to reflect on such as the ambitions of going to University and other feedback like the working with premiere pro and other programs that I use in the Media Course. What I think I did well in this interview mostly was open up about my strengths which can be a tough challenge for me and this feedback can help me reflect on myself and start thinking about how I should be more open about my strengths and weaknesses, it can also help me improve more in the future as I could learn much more about what I can do in certain projects and types of programs. Other things I notice in this feedback is that I received compliments for my descriptions about my achievements and ambitions and that could make me learn more about what real interviews can be like when receiving and the feedback from doing the interview and reflecting on myself incase of any improvements and certain changes that need to be done for other possible interviews.
Evaluation
What I think of this mock interview is that I think decently well, there a few things in the interview that caught my eye when watching over it but there was some moments where I think I handled some questions well and could answer them easily with my own and gain more of a confidence when going for an actual interview. What I think went well was my overall handling of some of the questions because when I got asked about where I see myself, I already knew of what I wanted to do for my dream job and gave a descriptive answer as to what I wanted to do as well as suggest what I can do in that specific job whether it becomes freelance or myself working in a company. What I think needs to be improved if I ever go into an interview is the way I spoke in some of the questions as I tended to Stutter a bit during questions due to nervousness but now I know that if I have experienced this sort of Interview, I know that I can improve my speak and stutter a lot less, what else I think needs to be improved is more descriptions on some of the questions I was asked about such as working in a team as I only gave one example which should have been more answers to give as I continued talking about the experience.
